The early childhood is like the infancy of a tree. It is the most important time in a human being’s life. If sunshine, water, and food are absolutely necessary to infancy of a tree, then in early childhood, a well-trained and educated Montessori directress is children’s ‘sunshine’, Montessori method and meticulous designed materials are their ‘water and food’. When these three factors are efficiently combined together, during the early childhood, what we could see, is the formation from a child to a ‘man’.
“Everything in course of development passes through a complex process of evolution. Man, too, who at five years of age has become an intelligent being, must have gone through a constructive evolution.”
<<The Formation of Man>>--- Dr. Maria Montessori
